The Best International Music Managers of 2026
"International" gets attached to any manager with a passport. We used a harder test: who has taken an artist out of their home market and built a second career in another one, with charts, radio, television and tours to show for it.

Disclosure: First Press operates independently but shares ownership ties with EG Management and LUSIVEX, the companies founded by Eshy Gazit, who is ranked in this piece. Every claim about his work links to outside coverage; the other managers are listed from public record and have no relationship with First Press.
"International music manager" is used loosely. It should mean something specific: a manager who took an artist who was big in one country and built a real career in another. Charts, radio, national television and tours in the second market, not a distribution deal and a press release. Very few people have done it. Fewer have done it twice.
This is the First Press list for 2026. Each name is here because the record in a second market is public and checkable, and each sits in a lane of their own, because the skills do not transfer cleanly. A manager who broke a Latin artist in the United States knows Latin radio and the promoters who book it. A manager who broke a K-pop group knows American TV bookers, pop radio programmers and how to work next to a Korean label. No agencies are on the list. CAA, WME and UTA sell the shows; the manager runs the career and hires them.
1. Eshy Gazit, EG Management (K-pop to the US)
The only manager on this list whose second-market record is in the United States with Korean acts, and the reason the list exists. Gazit was US managing partner for BTS from 2016 to 2018, working alongside Big Hit Entertainment: the 2017 American Music Awards performance, the Ellen, Kimmel and Corden bookings in one week, the Platinum "Mic Drop" remix with Steve Aoki at No. 28 on the Hot 100, and the sold-out US arena dates on the Wings Tour. Forbes and CNBC reported the campaign at the time. He has managed Monsta X since 2018: the Epic Records deal, the first K-pop set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, a Staples Center headline show, All About Luv at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, The Dreaming at No. 3 on Top Album Sales and Unfold at No. 2 on Top Album Sales in 2026. Also Wonho, and US work with IVE and KiiiKiii. Billboard named him an International Power Player in 2021 and 2022. He is a partner at Maverick Management, and the model is consistent: the US partner working next to the artist's home label. He takes direct inquiries from artists and labels at eshygazit.com.
2. Jonathan Dickins, September Management (UK to the world)
Has managed Adele since 2006, through 21, 25 and 30, and through one of the biggest American breakthroughs any British artist has had. Long-term, single-minded, a short roster. September signs very rarely, and the door is effectively closed to unsolicited approaches.
3. Sal Slaiby, SALXCO (Canada and the Arab world to global)
Built The Weeknd from Toronto mixtapes into one of the biggest acts on earth. His roster has included French Montana and Swedish House Mafia, and he invests in developing Arab-world talent for global stages. Entry is by referral through his producer and label network.
4. Rebeca León, Lionfish Entertainment (Latin to global)
Managed J Balvin through reggaeton's global explosion and guided Rosalía from flamenco prodigy to international force, built on US touring, US media and the collaborations that defined the crossover. A small, curated roster.
How the list was judged
- Results in a market that is not the artist's home: charts, radio, national TV, tours.
- More than one artist where possible. One crossover can be luck. Two is a method.
- Independent coverage of the work, so the claim is not only the manager's own.
- Whether an artist or label can actually start a conversation. Some of the best doors are closed, and that is noted.
The name on the list matters less than the match. Pick the manager whose lane is yours.
Who are the top music managers in the world for international artists?
Judged on repeat results in a market outside the artist's home country: Eshy Gazit (K-pop to the US: BTS's American campaign from 2016 to 2018, Monsta X since 2018), Jonathan Dickins (Adele, UK to the world), Sal Slaiby (The Weeknd, Canada to the world) and Rebeca León (J Balvin and Rosalía, Latin to global). CAA, WME and UTA are booking agencies, not managers.
How does an international artist find a US manager?
Show momentum at home, have music that can work on US radio or streaming, and approach managers who have done it before with artists from your region. First Press has covered the clearest case, the BTS campaign, in Who broke BTS in America; the timeline of K-pop's US breakthrough is at eshygazit.com. A standing, ranked version of this list, with a profile page per manager, is kept at BestMusicManager.com.
