JENNIE Ties Her Hot 100 Peak as LISA Debuts on the Billboard 200
Two BLACKPINK solo lanes land in the same US chart week. "Dracula" returns to No. 5 in its 57th week and PRESS PLAY opens at No. 35, while NMIXX and ILLIT debut on World Albums.
Disclosure: First Press operates independently but shares ownership ties with EG Management and LUSIVEX.
"Dracula (Jennie Remix)," the Tame Impala single with BLACKPINK's JENNIE, is back at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated November 7, up three places from No. 8 and level with its peak, according to Korea JoongAng Daily. The Hot 100 lists it in its 57th week on the chart.
The same week, LISA's six-track EP PRESS PLAY debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard 200, her second solo entry on the albums chart, per Music Times, citing Yonhap. Her 2025 album Alter Ego opened at No. 7, per the same report. The EP's release and its "Tarantino" video are covered in LISA Releases "Tarantino" Video and Her PRESS PLAY EP.
Two solo lanes, one chart week
The two results come from different routes. "Dracula" is a feature on a rock act's single that has stayed on the Hot 100 for more than a year, and on the Billboard Global 200 it sits at No. 16 this week with a peak of No. 2. PRESS PLAY is a solo release on LISA's own imprint and RCA, and its single "Tarantino" enters the Global 200 at No. 98 while "SaWaDiKa" re-enters at No. 126, per the same chart.
Elsewhere on the Hot 100, KATSEYE's "Animal" placed at No. 27, per Korea JoongAng Daily.
The albums chart
BTS' ARIRANG held at No. 57 on the Billboard 200 in its 32nd week, CORTIS' GREENGREEN came back at No. 90, and Stray Kids' This & That placed at No. 116, per Korea JoongAng Daily. The CORTIS return, with no new release behind it, is the subject of CORTIS Return to the Billboard 200 With No New Release.
On World Albums, GREENGREEN moved up to No. 1 from No. 3, Stray Kids' This & That held at No. 2, and two new EPs debuted: NMIXX's Strange Muse at No. 3 and ILLIT's BREAK EVEN at No. 7. ENHYPEN's THE SIN : BLISS is at No. 5. ILLIT's single "You're Under Arrest" also entered the Global 200 at No. 150.
What the week shows
Five K-pop acts on the Billboard 200 and two solo BLACKPINK records on the singles side point the same way. The US lane for a K-pop artist is now wide enough to hold a group release, a solo EP and a feature on a Western single in the same week, and each one keeps its own audience. How those audiences get built is the question behind The Rollout Is the Album Now.
